Since the days of Plato, to the [[Models of Benjamin Bloom]], we've understood that the way we learn vastly and fundamentally alters the results of our efforts. Understanding how our brains function, combined with the toolkit of modern technology could equip us to engage with optimised active learning strategies, that could change the game. #### [[Forest of Ideas 🌳|Let's get educated in a connected world!]] If we know where we want to go, with the toolkit to get there, let's begin this exciting adventure: **The Cave Wall**, with weekly sessions, an expanding digital [[Forest of Ideas 🌳|forest of ideas]], and the maximisation of modern technology is a platform to investigate the questions and ideas we believe in, value and are curious about. It's a meeting, of expert knowledge and novice minds, exploring and expanding our knowledge frontier - like a ship, sailing into the unknown, and making sense of the world that surrounds and inhabits us. Friday sessions will house the discussion of an area of investigation, introduced by an expert in the field, and then actively explored by the whole group. Tuesdays and Thursdays are student-driven workshops, with clear goals and interactive insight exploration. We encourage the submission of ideas and mini-essays, that enquire, research and distill ideas related in some capacity to our sessions. These pieces will then form a component of this very digital interconnected system.
